Miley is Smart With Her Money

Teen superstar Miley Cyrus is determined not to fritter away her hard-earned cash – because she wants to be able to support her parents when they retire.

The Hannah Montana actress/singer has made millions since she was cast in the hit Disney show, and recently topped a poll by Forbes magazine of the world’s highest-earning young stars.

But Cyrus has vowed that she won’t be splashing her money on luxury cars, jewels or clothes – because she wants to keep enough savings aside to help her father, Billy Ray, and mother, Leticia, later in life.

When asked whether she will be indulging in a few shopping sprees, Cyrus says, “Certainly not. I wouldn’t have anything left to support my family, because that is what I do. When I get older, and maybe my parents want to settle down, I want to be able to take care of them.”
