Selena Gomez allegedly dumped rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner for his Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. The Wizards of Waverly Place star began dating Lautner earlier this year while they were both in Canada filming movies.

Lautner allegedly split from his high school girlfriend Sara Hicks at Gomez’s request. “Selena said she wouldn’t hang with him unless he was single, so he broke up with his high school girlfriend Sara Hicks,” a source tells the National Enquirer.

After several months of dating, Gomez allegedly admitted she had a crush on Pattinson. “But after a couple of months together, Selena confided to him that she had a thing for his costar Robert Pattinson – and shocked Taylor by asking if he would put in a good word for her!” adds the insider.

While Lautner is allegedly “desperate and dateless,” it seems Pattinson has no trouble getting girls. The British actor is rumored to be dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart and his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin
