Newlywed Spencer Pratt has scrapped plans to spend the holidays with his new mother-in-law after derogatory comments she made about him went public this week.
The reality TV star, who eloped to Mexico with longtime partner and The Hills co-star Heidi Montag in November, has been left hurt and angry by comments Darlene Egelhoff has made about the last-minute nuptials.
Speaking to America’s Us Weekly magazine, Pratt’s new mother-in-law accused the star of drugging her daughter, stating the marriage is “the biggest mistake Heidi ever made”.
She also insists the marriage won’t last six months.
